Why do many IT people seem to be so impatient when it comes to dialogue?

A sample discussion, for your benefit:

person1:  “I restarted the server because it was  slow, and..”

person2: “yeah, I know it’s such a hog..I hate it! I was on it the other day, and the process count was off the chart!”

person1: “Well, maybe we’ve got services running that..”

person2: “Oh wait, now I remember, it was that McAfee thing …yeah yeah that was it..”

You see?

For some reason, many people are so impatient these days, that they cannot even wait to let person1 finish

what he/she was saying.

Is it just in IT?
